Krista Lamondin

Krista is now one of the two architects of record at MMPV Design Cooperative. She is licensed in California. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Master in Architecture degree in 2004. Krista started in the solar industry in 2016 and, since then, has enjoyed collaborating with teams and guiding clients through the design and construction processes. In her free time, Krista likes practicing martial arts, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Stella is a licensed architect in California with 17 years of architectural design and project management experience. She has served a variety of project types, ranging from high-end residential to multi-family residential portfolios and international development projects.  She has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Real Estate Development degree, both from Woodbury University.

    Clarissa Hoskison

    SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

    Clarissa collaborates with consultants, clients, and permitting agencies to help clients create efficient, effective solar projects. Clarissa enjoys helping clients navigate site-specific challenges and solar industry regulations. In her free time, Clarissa likes reading, knitting, rock climbing, and spending time with her cat Pip and poodle Duke.

    Kimberly Rice

    SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

    Kimberly Rice is a project manager with a passion for accessibility and sustainability of the built environment. With her master’s in architecture degree from the University of South Florida, Kim is on path to be a licensed architect in the state of California. With experience in furniture design, photography, branding, urban design, interior design and architecture, Kim has encountered a wide variety of design scales.

    Jenn Besancon

    SENIOR PROJECT DESIGNER

    Working as an independent consultant, Jennifer Besancon has been happily helping MMPV Design since 2018. A licensed California architect since 2009, she has over 15 years’ experience on projects in San Diego and Providence, RI and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly SLO. She values the flexibility to work from home while raising her two young boys.

    Anya Garcia

    SENIOR PROJECT DESIGNER

    Anya is a designer at MMPV where she develops sets of drawings, coordinates information, and collaborates with coworkers. Prior to MMPV she worked in architecture and design firms throughout the Los Angeles area since 2006. Her work experience includes multifamily housing, retail, restaurants, and art installations. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Design from Otis College of Art + Design and an M.Arch from UCLA. In her off time, she enjoys camping, long road trips, and gardening.

    Crystal Fairley

    PROJECT MANAGER

    Crystal is a project manager inspired by nature and sustainability who holds her M.Arch from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a well accredited professional. Her project background extends from large scale industrial and commercial retail to hospitality and residential. During her leisure time, her passions include dancing, photography, hiking, baking healthy treats and low-tox living.

    PROJECT DESIGNER

    Savannah is a project designer with a long time passion for sustainability. She received her Master of Architecture degree from the University of South Florida, and has experience working on aviation projects, commercial retail, large scale distribution, and warehouse facilities.

    In her free time, she loves biking and tending to her plants!

    Courtney Schmidt

    PROJECT DESIGNER

    Courtney works closely with MMPV project managers and regulatory officials to design and develop solar panel arrays. Courtney enjoys collaborating with her coworkers during the design process and decoding the puzzle of site design. In her free time, Courtney enjoys exploring new places, photography, and spending time with her family and pets.

    Athit Law

    PROJECT DESIGNER

    Athit holds a Master's degree in Architecture and has a passion for sustainability and clean energy. He enjoys diving into the details of the design process, whether it's developing early concepts or refining the final touches. As a Project Designer, he works closely with Project Managers to realize each client's vision and ensure smooth progress by addressing any challenges that come up along the way. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his husband and their pets, experimenting in the kitchen and doing his best to keep his plants alive

  • Marla Evans, Senior Finance Manager

    Marla Evans

    SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

    Marla Evans brings over 15 years of finance and operations experience across loan securitization, community banking, and mission-driven and nonprofit organizations, handling due diligence, compliance, acquisition integration, corporate financial planning and full-scope accounting; she holds an M.B.A. from the University of San Diego and a B.A. from CSU Fresno, and in her spare time enjoys time with her husband and two kids, hiking, gardening, reading and traveling.

Mariana Moncada

ARCHITECT, NCARB

MMPV’s Original Founder

Mariana founded MMPV and, in 2025, led its transition into MMPV Design Cooperative. She now supports the cooperative as a consultant.

She has worked on the planning, design, and permitting of solar projects since 2008, helping teams align drawings with energy, budget, and site constraints. Her portfolio includes design and permitting for schools and institutional sites as well as large utility-scale projects.

Mariana holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.Arch from the University of Texas at Austin, and maintains active architecture licenses in California, Arizona, and Colorado.
